Frequently Asked Questions

  • Here are some examples of things that we may do in therapy sessions:

    - Practice ways to create space when thoughts or feelings are overwhelming

    - Notice and build connection with different parts of who you are

    - Work together to identify or move toward your values, goals, and hopes

As a trauma-informed therapist, I believe that therapy should move at a pace that feels okay for all parts of you

  • The very first step is to set up an initial consultation with me. This 15-minute consultation over the phone or video is free of charge and gives you a chance to notice if you feel that I am a good fit. It also allows me to determine if I am a good fit for your experiences and goals.

You can set up a Introductory Virtual Consultation with me through my online booking calendar: yellowleaftherapy.janeapp.com

How often and for how long you might come to therapy depends on many factors, such as your goals, your previous experiences, and your availability. This is something we can discuss together.
